Unsolicited letters from headteachers and music staff, as well as the pupils themselves, attest to the tremendous success of the nmo Thank you very much for the delightful concert given by your orchestra to the school today. The quality of the playing and the evident enjoyment of the participating musicians made the experience one of great pleasure for the children. For so many of them this was the first time they had heard 'live' orchestral music.
